David Almgren is a seasoned marketing consultant, pastor, and entrepreneur with a diverse background in faith-based film marketing, pastoral ministry, and business ownership. As the leader of The Advance Team, David has built a reputation as a one-stop shop for engaging faith-based audiences, contributing to over 70 successful theatrical campaigns with a combined box office of more than $600 million. His expertise lies in creating strategic, targeted campaigns that engage churches, pastors, military chaplains and homeschool communities to drive support for faith-based films and has been sought after by major studios, including Affirm Films, Provident Films, Sony Pictures Animation, Fox, Lionsgate, and Kingdom Story Company. Known for his innovative solutions, David excels in connecting films with pastors, churches, and national ministries, ensuring marketing campaigns resonate deeply with the faith community.
David’s entrepreneurial journey began with owning and operating a toy store for 15 years, where he demonstrated innovation by incorporating faith-based products like VeggieTales videos and toys into his offerings. Not only did he market these popular children's items, but he also created unique family-oriented VeggieTales movie events at the local theater, fostering community engagement and driving sales. His ability to merge entertainment and ministry, even at the retail level, laid the foundation for his future work in film marketing.
In addition to his business acumen, David brings over 20 years of pastoral leadership across multiple churches, providing him with a profound understanding of ministry dynamics and community building. This experience has proven invaluable in shaping his strategic approach to faith-based film marketing, where he effectively engages church communities to support theatrical releases.

Rob Carter, based in Fresno, California, is an accomplished event producer and host, with over 30 red carpet movie events to his credit. These events are not only a celebration of film but also serve as a powerful platform to mobilize the church across California’s Central Valley. Through these screenings, Rob engages faith communities, equipping them to impact their local areas by using film as a tool for outreach and transformation. In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Rob is dedicated to missionary work, extending his passion for service beyond the Central Valley to help those in need around the world. His unique blend of entertainment, faith, and service has made him a key figure in both the local church and the broader missionary community.
Nick Agneto is based in the thriving city of Stamford, Connecticut, Nick has a passion for grassroots outreach with churches, pastors, and men's groups. Nick is equipped to help foster strong relationships with pastors, churches and ministries that will bear the fruit of awareness for inspirational and faith filled movie releases in the greater NYC and the Tri State area.
